You will need:
1. A K'NEX Base kit…
First, assemble the six 3D connectors shown in the photo opposite.
Please visit Handy Hint A4 if you need help to do this.
Then attach to a red rod:
1. A tan clip, with the pin facing outwards.
2. A silver spacer.
3. A purple clip.
4. A blue spacer.
5. A purple clip.
6. A blue spacer.
7. A white connector.
8. The motor.
9. A white connector.
10. A blue spacer.
11. A purple clip.
12. A blue spacer.
13. A purple clip.
14. A silver spacer.
15. A tan clip, with the pin facing outwards.
Finally, attach the radar and the two cameras to your model.
Your Mars Rover is now complete.
What next?
Position your Mars rover on uneven ground, and turn on the motor.
Your rover will slowly progress forward, climbing over the uneven ground (if the bumps are not too high).
