K'NEX Fan

This simple fan is ideal as a first motorised project .

It can be built with:

1. A K'NEX Base kit…

2. A K'NEX Battery motor (any colour)…

The first stage of assembly is to build a base for the Fan...

…the shaft that will drive the fan blade…

…and the fan blade.

Then fit the lugs on one side of the motor into the white connector at the centre of the base...

... insert the shaft into the motor (you may have to push quite hard) ...

... and finally fix the fan blade onto the top of the shaft, so that the pin of the tan interlocking clip fits into the white connector at the centre of the fan blade.

Your fan is now complete, and you can test it by switching on the motor.
