Hint W11 - K'NEX Monster Truck wheels
The K'NEX Monster truck wheel is an attractive, chunky wheel that works well on many different types of K'NEX vehicle.
It can be purchased as a Just K'NEX Monster Truck wheels pack in our online parts shop.
Each wheel is assembled from a black tyre, a black hub and a silver hubcap, as shown below:
1. Push the black hub into the wide circular opening in the tyre.
This image shows a simple vehicle with four Monster Truck tyres.
Note that the tyres are available in a Left hand and a Right hand version, just as in real-life monster trucks.
This allows the arrow-shaped tread on each tyre to be pointing in the right direction when the vehicle moves.
Note also that the monster truck wheel can be used either:
a) As a free-spinning wheel, as shown on the right of this photo, or
b) As a wheel fixed to a rod using a tan interlocking clip, which then allows the wheel to be driven by a motor, as shown on the left of this photo.
The simple vehicle above has two free-spinning wheels at the front, and two motor-driven wheels at the back.
