Unlike many construction kits and toys, all the K'NEX rods, connectors and bricks we sell (both in sets and as parts) are manufactured in the USA, at a sister factory next door to K'NEX headquarters in Pennsylvania. This factory uses raw materials from premier quality US manufacturers, operates under the strictest of guidelines, and is certified to meet ISO 9001 Standards.
A small number of specialized parts, such as motors, are made in China. However, these items are manufactured to meet both EN71 European Union Toy Safety Standards and the US standard for toy safety ASTM F963-03. The parts are routinely examined by an independent, third-party laboratory to ensure that they meet safety standards.
It is also important to note that all the K'NEX sets and parts we sell are new and unused, unlike most of the K'NEX sets and parts available online via eBay etc. ^Top

How do I order online?
Ordering online could not be easier - simply add the products you want to buy into your Shopping Cart, and then proceed to Checkout, as shown below.
Adding items to shopping cart
We recommend that you start by browsing through one of our online shops, and then add any products that you wish to buy into the Shopping Cart by using the "Add to Cart" button for that product.
Any product you add to the shopping cart will initially have a quantity of 1. To revise the quantity for any product, change the value in the "Quantity" box for that product, and then click on the "UPDATE" button at the bottom of the Shopping Cart page.
Products can also be removed from the shopping cart if you wish. Simply tick the "remove" box for the product, and then click on the "UPDATE" button at the bottom of the page.
After you have finished adding everything to the Shopping Cart, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete your order, including your name, address and payment method. ^Top
Which is the best K'NEX set to buy?
Two factors that you may wish to consider when choosing a K'NEX set are as follows:
It is not possibly to define precisely which K'NEX sets give "best value", as (for instance) some sets contain classic K'NEX components, whereas others contain the smaller Micro K'NEX components.
However, one indicator that you might like to use to compare sets is "Cost/piece", that is the average cost of each piece of K'NEX in the set. This ranges from 5p/piece on some large sets and special offers, right up to more than 20p/piece on certain sets.
Where possible, we show the cost/piece in GBP (£) for every K'NEX set we sell in our online shop.
Whilst most K'NEX retail sets are sold in throw-away cardboard packaging, the K'NEX and Kid K'NEX education sets we sell are supplied in a storage tub or tray, that can be used as the permanent home for your K'NEX set.

Which countries and currencies do you operate in?
We support K'NEX users around the world, by making our free resources universally available, and via our online K'NEX shops for different countries/currencies, as follows:
We operate four online K'NEX shops, serving the UK; mainland Europe; USA and Canada; and the Rest of the world.
This approach allows K'NEX users in almost every country in the world to purchase K'NEX items from us. The only exceptions are China, India and Russia, where we have been requested not to sell by the manufacturers of K'NEX.

Can I view the website in my own language?
The main language used on our website is English. Many of the pages in the K'NEX shop may also be viewed in German or French, by clicking on the German or French flag in the right hand navigation bar.
In addition, all the English web pages include a Google translation facility in the right hand or left hand navigation bar. This allows you to request translation of the page into the language of your choice.
Google Translate does not provide a perfect translation of the web pages, but the feedback we have received indicates that despite its limitations it is still a useful facility to have. ^Top
Why do you request my email address and phone number?
When you place an order with us, we request during Checkout: your organisation name (if any), contact name, address, postcode, email address and telephone number.
An accurate email address is essential, as this is how we send your order acknowledgement, raise any order queries with you, and keep you up to date with the delivery status of your order.
Your telephone number can also be of help to us in fulfilling your order, for instance in situations where the carrier cannot find your address. Rest assured, we will never telephone you for any other reason, or pass on your telephone number to a third party other than the organisation(s) delivering your order.
We also use the email addresses entered with orders to email our occasional newsletters. You can opt out of this service if you wish. ^Top
This is a .PDF file (48Kb) that can be printed out, completed, and faxed, emailed or posted to us. When we receive your completed Order form, we will email you the shipping cost for the order, plus any VAT (Value Added Tax) due. If you then decide to proceed with the order:
♦ If you are based in the UK, and are a public sector organisation, a large company, or a large charity, we will despatch the goods to you, and then invoice you.
♦ If you are based in the UK, but are not any of the above, we will send you a Pro forma invoice, for payment in advance of the goods being despatched.
♦ If you are not based in the UK, we will send you a Pro forma invoice, for payment in advance of the goods being despatched.

Can I just ask for a quotation?
You can obtain a Quotation for any combination of products in our shop, as follows:
1. Add the products to the cart in the normal way.
2. Proceed to checkout
3. In checkout page 1 of 3, enter your address, including the country and any state/region requested.
4. Select <Next>.
5. The total cost will be displayed on Checkout page 2 of 3, including the shipping cost and any VAT.
6. You can now print this screen and use it as a Quotation if you wish. ^Top

We have tried to make navigation around the site as simple and as quick as possible.

Why do I get an error message?
There are three main reasons why you might get an error message whilst accessing our website:
