Hint N6 - Magnets
Ring magnets and small horseshoe magnets can be used effectively in K'NEX challenges such as "Magnetic Fishing", by attaching the magnet to a piece of string.
Ring magnets have an additional advantage that they can also be slid over K'NEX rods, if they are of the right diameter.
