The K'NEX Base Kit is a carefully-chosen set of K'NEX parts which can be used as a base for hundreds of different K'NEX models. View some examples of models
Designed by Andy Shercliff of the K'NEX User Group, the kit has been proven in use over 24 years, in homes, in schools, in out-of-school education, and (most recently) via Zoom.
We can supply the whole kit, but if you already have a collection of classic K'NEX parts, all you need to do is to view click on the "Spare Parts" link above, and buy any parts that you are missing.
We recommend that you store your K'NEX Base Kit in a compartmented storage tray, such as the one shown in the photo. However, WE CANNOT SUPPLY THE STORAGE TRAY. We recommend that you search for a suitable tray on Amazon or similar, using a search term such as "plastic box with compartments and lid for nuts and bolts". The tray shown is approx. 46x32x8cm (18x12.5x3 inches).
