Hint W5 - Wheels and tyres Many K’NEX sets include wheels that consist of hubs with removable tyres. The photo shows the popular K'NEX small wheel, which fits onto any classic K'NEX rod.
To use the wheel, simply put a classic K'NEX rod through the hole in the middle, and it will spin freely. One way to stop the wheel falling off the rod is to put a K'NEX clip on the end of the rod (see picture). If you want the rod and wheel to turn at the same time, please view Hint W6.

Micro K'NEX also includes a standard hub that can be fitted with two different sizes of tyre, as shown in the photo. The hub can be attached onto the end of any Micro K'NEX rod.
